Really kicking myself

:( Feeling really low at the moment and need some words of encouragement from you wonderful people.
I started my VLCD journey on Auguat 23rd last year and weighed in at 17stone 10lbs. I lost weight at a steady pace and reached 12 stone at the end of Jan...really should have carried on doing 790 until I'd reached 11 and a half but made the decision to move up and I am now on 1200.I have also started doing exercise 6 days a week (cross-trainer, weights, stretches etc). Still drinking my 4 ltrs of water a day...the thing is my weight has remained static at 12 stone..sometimes it goes up to 12 2 and then back to 12 but it never goes under 12:cry:
Don't think I could cope with stopping the excersise and not sure I can manage the excersise on less calories....help what shall I do?:sigh:

Have you been measuring yourself??? Are you losing inches.

A woman doing nothing but normal everyday stuff needs 2000 calories a day - so even on 1200 cals you should be losing weight - plus all the exercise. I think maybe your body is building muscle which weighs heavier. So even if you are not losing pounds you should be losing inches. How long have you been doing all this extra exercise??? What does your CDC say about you not losing pounds??

Thanks for the reply Beverley:) I have been doing the exercise for about 6 weeks. My body is more toned and my CDC says I look fab but it's really getting to me that I cant lose any pounds! Still seem to be losing some inches:)

Would really like to get this half stone off..I am 5ft 9 tall so somewhere between 11 stone 3 and 11 stone 10 would be my ultimate goal, I am just wondering if I moved up the programme to quickly?

Well muscle weighs more than fat so if you've put on muscle you will have lost fat and be more toned but the scales say the same.

I'm 5 3.5 and weigh 10st 4 because I weight train. It seems higher than other people but I'm a size 8/10. I've been this weight before and taken a size 14 as I wasn't did no exercise at all let alone weights, running and pilates.

Well, I don't think that you should be kicking yourself. You have lost so much weight already and while you want to lose more, you aren't being inactive about it, you are now back on track trying to achieve your goal.
If anything, you should be patting yourself on the back......:)
