Wishing and hoping!
does anyone know the syn value of asdas own brand of meatfree products???? e.d chicken style kev, meatfree balls etc i would be eternally greatful :)
 
I haven't got my book with me, but someone will pop by soon enough! All I will say is that just because it's meat free doesn't mean it will be syns free. Quorn is made with mushroom protein whilst own brand meat free products are made with other things so wont be the same. For example Quorn fillets are free, but tesco meat free fillets are not :)
 
The meat free meatballs are yummy and only 2 syns for the pack of 24!!

I have not even bothered syn-ing the Asda meat free mince........someone put me out of my misery?

yes that is totally free (probably because it tastes like fresh air cos i can't have tomatoes lol)

My attempts at being thrifty have been fruitless.

Speaking of fruit, next you'll tell me that smart price bananas or 3 syns each........!

No my poor daughter is extremely allergic to them. can't have them in the house in any form :(
 
awww bless her, how horrible for her, and unusual! Tomatoes are Cr*p anyway- I'm always picking it out of my sarnies.
