HI EVERYBODY! IT WILL BECOME OBVIOUSE TO MOST OF YOU THAT I AM NEW TO ALL THIS AS YOU READ ON. FIRSTLY I MUST APOLOGISE, I AM NOT DYSLEXIC BUY HAVE A DODGY KEYBOARD. SECONDYLY I HAVE NOT GOT A CLUE ABOUT THREADS AND WHAT NOT!! WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?? WHAT I REALLY NEEDTO KNOW IS; IF I NEED TO BREAK MY LIPOTRIM DIET (I AM IN THE 1ST STAGE BUT HAVE TO GO TO MY MUMS BIRTHDAY LUNCH AND MY GODCHILDS CHRISTENING) WHAT WILL I CHOOSE TO EAT THAT WILL HAVE THE LEAST IMPACT ONMY DIET?:confused:

PS WHAT ARE TAGS AND TRACKBACKS ETC.:confused::confused:

The best advice is to refeed for a week before each occasion. Anything else is you taking matters into your own hands and is officially breaking the diet. If you were to you should go for low carb meals. An atkins style dinner with as little carb as possible because it'll make it easier to get into ketosis again when you go back to total food replacement. :D

Good luck!

best advice is to not eat anything!! avoid avoid avoid!!

Your mum would think you're being anti-social? surely you'd still be talking??? just not eating random bits of chicken and potentially going completely off plan. I'm sure life would still be worth living. Honest.

You don't know my mum. I really want to do this buy its not just my mum. When i told my best friend (i'm doing godmother to her new baby) that i would rathr not have to have a meal at the christening she was really offended and i think she thought i was being selfish!!!

Family pressures are what we have to deal with on this diet. If you explained to your mum how important the diet is to you I'm sure she'd get it, she wants you to be healthy and happy I'm sure. Ultimately it is your choice but it really is best to try not to. I've tried cheat eating on previous attempts -and they've ALL ended in failure. I'm caving for nothing or no one this time.

Do what's best for YOU. :D

Perhaps explain the importance of this to them. Take time to explain how it works and that you're not doing it to be offensive.

That said, at the end of the day, it's your choice. No one can physically make you eat and swallow even if you do feel pressure to eat.

For me personally. I'd think they were being selfish by trying to make me eat when just for the moment I need to do this for me.

Here here! They'll come round when they see you happier each passing week!

Will let you know how i get on!!! Whats the worse thing that can happen!!! At least i wont go to bed another night feeling a failure! I'm going to see this diet through and i cant believe that only 15 mins ago i was discussing what i could eat to make other people happy. That probably says something about me that i should try and change, but alls good now. Glad about my decision.

See...but by recognising that defeat isn't the only answer...you are changing your thinking already! You're making yourself happy for a change by doing something that will (in time) have a positive effect on you.:0clapper:

P.S. Have no idea what tags and trackbacks are. Think tags are for other diets...em...ones that have red days and stuff?

I'm glad to see you've decided not to eat & that you've recognised it's for other people! That's a big thing & you should be proud of yourself. & you'll be even more proud when the weight is dropping off!

Good luck!

Hi Mardge, it is totally doable! My Husband took me on a surprise holiday for my birthday when I was on week 6 of Lipotrim (1st time). I only knew the night before the flight the next morning so no time to prepare, refeed or anything! Guess what? I still had the time of my life; in my mind it was "OK, I'm not having any food for now" and that was that! I wouldn't say I had fantastic will power but slim feels greater than any meal tastes -especially when you get fab results weekly!
PS: I came back from the holiday lbs lighter!!
