fats, sugar and salt

I follow Rosemary Conley's diet which is low fat and low calorie. I don't eat anything above 5% fat (except meat & occasional treat allowance).

I don't follow any salt or particular sugar rules though, just the fat and calories.

Ive been concentrating to fat and calorie levels, less than 70g fat and 20gs sat fat, and have always been under. and my calorie allowence is 1800 a day, and have never gone over, yet the scales are showing a gain of almost 2lbs since wednesday morning. I been walking, aerobics and wii fit since then, so I really dont get it. I came off of CD as I was struggling and wanted food, but I also wanted a diet where I wasnt going to lose one week, gain the next, because that makes me feel that Im never getting anywhere. I know I have 5 whole days before I weigh again, but now I feel I have even extra to lose. Don't really know what to do.
 
Actually i aint been looking at any of that... MAYBE i should be and i might loose a little more!

I made spag bol last night, which is prob very high in fat, so ill finish left overs 2day and then start counting fat too!
 
The essentialsweightloss site gives a free trial, it counts your fat and gives you a daily calorie recommendation, if you put in your weight and height and activity level. You just put your food in and it works it all out for you. I am 285 lbs and it recommends I have 1826 cals and up to 70g fat. It counts up all yor excercise too and is a super weightloss tool. Someone recommended it to me and I am hooked!

Active Health on the nintendo DS does the same thing. I put in all my info, and it says for me to have 1800 cals, which seems loads to me. it has 70gms fat, but I didnt know if thats the GDA for weight loss, or in general.
How have your losses been?
 
Just been on the weight loss tool, it says I shoul have 1500 cals, which is 300 less than the DS recommended, also says to try not exceed 53gms fat, so may stick to those numbers this week, ans see if it helps
 
I was doing SW and have only just moved over to CC and really enjoying the change. I lost 2lbs last week, weigh on Mon and had a sneeky peek this morning and had lost another 2lbs. I did have one day where I went over cals but have excercised 4 times this week x2 gym x2 swimming.I have set the essentials for losing 2lb per week and so far it has been spot on.

How many cals, etc are you on?
 
Remember muscle mass weighs more than fat so if you're toning up with your exercising that could account for the suspected weight gain. However, if you stick to 1500 cals plus continue your exercises & drink lotsa water I'm sure you'll always have a loss each week!
