ideas for holidays

onlyme!

is a naughty girl...
If I was to give you £5000 and told you, you had to spend it on a holiday....where would you go?

:D

Ooh, this is a good one! hmm, I would take my family (Mum, Dad and Brother) away on a skiing holiday, they've never been as they see holidays as a 'in the sun' all the time holiday... so I think I would take them away skiing and they'd have a great time. Well Mum would love the vin chaud and my Dad would like the sun and my brother could learn to snowboard! what a great question to ask! :)

I would take my children to Finnish Lapland for Christmas. Easy peasy.

I love Cancun in Mexico and would jump at the chance to go again, but, if I were to get £5K to go anywhere I would maybe choose somewhere different. I would probably go to Dubai and have a week or two of pure luxury. If not there, maybe Bahrain or somewhere in the Middle East x

Ride across America on the back of Harley Davidson - do Route 66 and all that stuff!!

Definitely going to do that for my b/f 40th birthday in a couple of year's time... but if there's 5 grand going spare now...!!

I would go to Las Vegas and stay in the Hugh Hefner suite of the Palms, have absolute luxurious service for a couple of nights and then fly to NY for a couple of days spend loads of money on Christian Louboutin shoes and designer clothes, eat in the best restaurants and fly home! You can have a sun holiday any time! Hmmm now you have got me thinking about something other than the flat thank you!

Probably Dubai or Maldives but 5 star travel all the way! Either that or a trip through the States. There are so many places I want to visit, it's really difficult to choose!!

new york city in pure luxury!

we were going to try NYC on a budget but it never worked out as i knew it would not be possible!

the carribean. go island hopping, head over to jamacia and find some rasta's to chat to :) i love dreadlocs

I was going to say Vegas baby - but unreal has taken than one from me.... probably take a couple of months in South America, Florida Keys, or book myself into a couple of bootcamps!

Kerry Berry, Rethink the Atlantis.... Was there a couple of years ago for a wedding and certainly wouldn't go back!

I would take my children to Finnish Lapland for Christmas. Easy peasy.
We've been there the last 5 years and we're going again this year! If you ever get the chance to go, do it-it's brilliant!:D

I'd love to go back to Australia again but to take in more places-so we'd go to see the relatives in Perth, then I'd go to Sydney and Brisbane-have a stay on Moreton Island and stopover on the way back in either Dubai or Bali.

New Zealand, I think, with a stop-over in Hong Kong. I've been to HK before and loved it but it was only for 4 days and there is so much to see and do there. I would want to do both islands of NZ and not rush it, so £5,000 should do just nicely, thank you very much :)

I'd use it to stay on holiday for as long as possible somewhere warm & sunny. Anything to avoid coming back to work as I always get the post-holiday blues!!

Well Meg my old buddy. Ill let you into a lil secret. I had something similar to this last year. I entered into a competition in a magazine and won a £2000 holiday voucher and an awesome Canon camera. My gf (at the time) and I felt like we won the lottery. We walked into all the holiday shops and got stacks of brochures ranging from cruises to skiing to beaching.

In the end we decided either drive route 66 for a month or spent christmas and new years in 5* hotels in Thailand. Due to spending money we went with the Thailand one. We sold the Camera for £1100 and that paid for the additional £700 of stuff we wanted to do and gave us a head start on the spending money.

We decided to stay 4 days in a 5* hotel in bangkok where we saw lots of culture and some wierd things, 3 days in a 4* in Chang Mai, where we went to an elephant sanctury and a tiger breeding place where i got to hug a tiger and play with it. (NEVER touch its face)

Then we flew to phuket for 8 days and stayed at a lovely hotel in the most expensive room (the same hotel Leo DI C stayed at when filming The Beach).

Came back all relaxed and full of photos, and got dumped. Nice......

Poor old sulley. Sounds like a good holiday though!

Sparkles I can't recommend Brisbane enough although I am a bit biased! Best city in the world
