Can I use long grain as a HEXB on a RED day?

I am doing a RED day today - I am making a SW recipe - Chicken Vindaloo, and I am serving it with long grain pilau rice - but I cannot find an HEXB for it in my book.....

So can I have it as a HEXB, and if so how much can I have?

If not how much is the syns for long grain rice?

Sorry but rice, even brown rice doesn't count as a hex.28g dry is 5 syns on a red day

Or you could change to an extra easy day and have the rice without synning (I believe). This obvviously depends on what you have had so far today...

I'd go for the ee option, you cann't have all that lovely curry sauce and nothing to soak it up with can you.

Thanks everyone, my curry was lovely and I just synned my rice - I had enough syns so I haven't spoilt my day - phew!!! full up now though.....
