hi everyone ,ive got a bit of a problem and im wondering if anyone has any suggestions since starting weightwatchers ive had a problem with going to the loo, if im lucky i go once a week and im really starting to feel uncomfortable.ive added fibre to my diet, i eat fruit ,i take fibregel with my main meal and i still cant go lol.all suggestions welcome.

tried them and lactulose but tks.

I didn't have this problem personally, however bodies respond differently to changes of diet.. perhaps the amounts of vegs and fruits are making your body go in a shock? a positive one..
Do the obvious: eat wholemeal fibre, walk and drink water and avoiding restraining.. when it comes it will come and you'll know about it.. believe me the last thing you want is piles!
if it lasts like this for the next week then you should make an appointment with your gp... or simply ask your leader?
sorry if i wasn't too helpful!!

my body probably has had a shock it didnt get much fruit, veg or fiber before i do drink quite a bit of water (with dilute pop) ,dont like plain water. i have decided to make an appointment with gp as this has been going on several weeks now.

seems like you are doing everything you can, and if it has been like that for a few weeks then yeah best to see your gp and maybe get something stronger, good luck hun hope things start moving along very soon! x

Hiya again..i know this may seem weird but try sitting on the loo with yer legs raised higher...and also massaging across the bowel could help from one side to the other??
Good luck

Hi
I also had the same problem so kept a diary to see what foods made it worse or better. Rice def made it worse as did quorn and eggs but 2 weetabix was good and so was 5 dried apricots daily. Might be worth doing a diary for yourself to see any patterns forming. Good luck xx

I swear by dried fruit, apricots, figs or fresh dates usually work a treat!

Hope you get it sorted.

have you tried benefibre? i use it - you mix 1 or 2 tsp into drinks / yoghurt / soup or any food really and it really really helps :) you can buy it from the supermarket, think its about £8 for a huge tub x
