Nope. No luck required. I certainly didn't "luckily" eat my packs today. I did it very much deliberately.

I do hope you manage to eat your packs deliberately though.

Yeah...well..not sure what you don't understand. As KD says, eat packs. No "slip ups", means there is no luck in it. It works.
