I did a strange thing today

I went to the supermarket (this is not particularly strange). I have started stocking up on bbq stuff for when we have people over in a few weeks and I bought my husband food for the week.

And then...

I bought four small cans of tuna in spring water.

I don't know why I did it.

It's like by having it in the house I am almost giving myself permission to eat it. And I don't want to. I want to stay 100% SS and give myself the best possible chance of fertility treatment in 8 weeks time.

Why did I do that?

donate it to your local cat home!!!!! HOw did your appointment go????
xoxox

you bought it for when you do SS+ I imagine, you are strong so you're not going to have it now, it's just a incentive to slim more so you can move up the steps when you're ready

Yes I have a cat! Grand idea!

She is currently sat on my lap so maybe she has an inkling that the fish is in the cupboard haha.

The appointment was really positive. They will prescribe me clomid when I hit a BMI of 35 and I will be eligible for IVF at a BMI of 30. I said I will hit that by Christmas. My consultant said that was completely impossible and expects it to take me at least a year.

I go back in eight weeks and hope to be at the BMI of 35 by then and surprise the hell out of her :D

How anoyed were you with consultant for thinking that, I know I would have been. I hope you prove her wrong hun and shock the hell out of her. Good luck with it all. xx

Haha I wasn't really annoyed - I think she thought I was setting myself up to be disappointed.

She told me my determination is impressive :D

Well, if you're anything like me... I only have to be told that I won't achieve something and I go ALL OUT to prove them wrong.

I really hope that it's the motivation that you need to do this. As for the tuna, you bought it, you didn't eat it.... it's just tuna. It REALLY doesn't have any appeal!!!

Frankly feeding it to the cat is a bit extravagant!!! leave it for the SS+ week, it won't go off honest!

Guru, I done this and it led to me eating it. because I knew it was there. I had only got the Tuna because it was on offer in Sainsburys too. I thought to myself....."I'll get that while it's on offer" A few days later I was eating it. :-(

Go guru, you show that consultant what you can achieve!!! Tuna has a very long shelf-life you know;) - DON'T EAT IT!!!
