The only thing I can think is that 4 eggs seem an awful lot. I have been known to sieve cottage cheese add sweetener and use it as cream! (granted this was years ago, but on toast with a spoon of jam I really enjoyed it.
I use 4 egg's in mine, but I don't use Cottage cheese or Quark - I find using the 4 eggs set's the quiche nicely without cheese, and it is really delicious.
