Hi All,

Back off my hols yesterday, had a lovely week eating drinking & relaxing. I weighed myself this morning and i have stayed the same:D, so feeling motivated i thought back to low carbing today. Must say its been harder than i thought! I have totally failed, am i going to go on like this now for days, weeks!!. Think I need to get myself an action plan.:gen147:
 
Start afresh tomorrow hun. Monday, start of a new week and a new beginning. Why don't you try planning your meals out for the next couple of days so you have a plan to stick to? Might help focus you a little.
 
Totally agree with the above. I've planned my meals for the next week because I KNOW if I leave it to chance I'll just not get anywhere!!

Thanks guys for your advice, even the thought of planning so many protein meals has me feeling blaah, :sigh:

im off on holiday to spain a week today, i was wondering, if you flun caution into the win a fully enjoyed the non atkins type foods or if you tried to be 'good'?

Im planning on making good atkin choices but also having a lolly if i want one
 
I make a point of going into Atkins induction a month before we go away or Christmas and stuff so I've got a few pounds in hand so to speak. If you're already on induction that's no use really. I was careful back in the day and always tried my best to stick to Atkins.

Yes laura i ate what I wanted on holiday, although i did not overeat. Had another bad day today even thought i Planned my meals i did not make them:cry:

Thanks hon, I know, I just dont feel inspired, or motivated at the minute, and my mate had her blood test done today and her cholesterol was a whopping 6.8 the dr has told her not to eat any red meats and keep fats to a minimun, its just messed with my mind I think.
 
Have you had your cholesterol checked? and is your friend on Atkins too? Cos I thought you'd be eating more good fats than the bad fats you get from sugar and carbs. If you're really not sure try to stick to roasted fish and chicken? you can always book yourslf in with the doc if you're not sure?

Maybe you should have a browse through the recipes sticky to get inspiration? plus, you probably have still got holiday head on so give it a couple of days - ease yourself back into it. X

No I have not had my cholesterol checked, and my friend is not on atkins but has been limiting her carbs but that is only recently so i cant imagine that that has any thing to do with it. OOh i just need to pull myself together and get on with it, as you say it may take a few days.

I had two, Jake and Grace but had to rehome them. Broke my heart.
 
Beautiful cat Jo :) I can feel your pain i'm on day 3 of my restart but i'm not in ketosis I can feel i'm not yet so close! I've been drinking something with lemon in it and that's stalled it but have stopped it now so hopefully by tomorrow I'll be in ketosis. I did eat a lot of carbs over my 3 days off so to speak hhehehe just had some rhubard not too much wasnt as nice as i'd hoped it would be :)

Yes i am going to try again tomorrow, just need to give myself a talking too. I have tried and failed at so many diets in the past, at least i know once i have been doing it a couple of days the hungers pains fade I dont have to count, weigh and fiddle about.
Thank you my cat is two yrs old now, I went every for a kitten Sanctury's rehoming centres. Then i went down the bargain pages and all were sold. Until this lady phoned me back (she must of been out the first time i called) and said she had a six week old kitten who had been rejected by her mum. I was compelled then to go and check it out, when i got there I thought she had carried in a hamster she was so tiny and looking rather worse for wear. She wanted £40 for her but i offered he £20 and a good home i also told her that the kitten needed urgent medical treatment, Which later turned out to be £300 and she nearly died, the vets said she was not older than 30 days so i had to bottle feed her, now she is all grown up and a loyal companion, and she gives my rotti a run for her money:eek:
 
Awww she was lucky so! I know what you mean with the rotti, cats so rule. I have a lab cross collie pure dope haha and 3 cats total. Mika the one in my pic who's all grown up now turned out to be part norgwegin forest cat! He has short fur now but come christmas he'll look like a different cat all long fur. He's all looks but no brains very clumsy cat but he stands his ground and the neighbours terrier runs away when he sees him hahaa. I've attached a pic of him furry :D
