Hi,

I don't know what to do...i am currently following the 810 plan of CD, it has been plain sailing so far but the past 4 days i keep getting really dizzy and hungry. Today i just feel zapped of energy and very light headed.
I'm drinking 4 litres of water and having all my packs. I'm really anal about following the plan to the letter:D.
However i do not like feeling like this, i'm starting to feel quite depressed about it now.
My current bmi is around 26 i think....is it time for me to follow 1000cal step?
Any ideas on why i'm feeling so crap? I'm not in ketosis as i checked this morning.

Hi d'maid, you should be ok to stick with the 810 until you reach goal, have a chat with your CDC about your current plan and whether it would be a good idea to move up yet. I remember getting dizzy spells now and again through ss/ss+ and 810 but it would pass eventually, sre you doing exercise of overdoing it at all??
Do u usually check for ketosis? as the sticks are not always realiable especially as you drink so much water, this can dilute the ketones so much it doesn't always show. Have you tried splitting your protein portion throughout the day into 2 smaller meals this may help with hunger, along with splitting up shakes too and this way you are having smaller amounts more often.
Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Lelly,

Thanks for your reply. I already split the shakes and it seems to help but hadn't thought about splitting my protein portion though so may give that a go if i continue to feel like this.
I have been doing exercise from the start really but the last few days i can't summon up the energy.

Just hope this feeling passes soon as i would like to stick at it until goal.
xx

It makes sense to me, not that that means it is correct that you are finding exercise more difficult now as your body is using up its fat stores and as your glycogen store is well and truly empty, your body is looking for extra calories.

May be worth just doing some weights for a while, and cutting out the cardio, or alternatively consider doing 1000.
