tomoro for lunch i am going to a sort of fancy pub with my aunt for lunch,
iv already looked at the menu and the things i think wil be less syns are either the sausage and mash or a sandwich/wrap.
which would be less.the fillings are tuna and mayo or prawn marie rose.and would a wrap be better than a sandwhich??
im very confused here.
oh they also have breaded scampi with chips.guessing that would be high?

sausages can be really high in syns, as could the mash with lashings of butter and ff milk. Baked potato with something grilled, maybe gammon would be ok on EE day. The sandwich would probably be better than the wrap, but only if you chose wholemeal bread and used it as a hex b

Yes- all of those things sound quite high

Some alternatives they may have which will be lower are:

Jacket potatoes with beans, tuna, prawns, etc
Steak and new potatoes
Grilled chicken and salad
Gammon and pineapple with a jacket and salad

I eat out a lot when I work away and these are my staples. I have always found that people are more than happy when asked to swap chips for potatoes (ask them not to put butter on the spuds too), leave the dressing off salad, put the mayo on the side etc.

Have a nice time

Well i would either do an ee day and have meat and veg or something like that, or do a green day and have a jacket potato with beans etc, hope it helps, alternatively you could just flexi syn the meal and have whatever you want.

mmmm there are still some yummy choices there that wouldnt do too much damage syn-wise, what about a nice steak with salad instead of chips... or a small portion of new potatoes...
but then, nice big jacket spud with beans sounds good too! :)

What is flexy-synning? xx
