Who first noticed your weight loss?

Who first noticed your weight loss - that you hadn't told you were on a diet? How much weight had you lost by then? Had you gone down a clothes size?

I have yet to have anyone notice, but I am not surprised as I don't look any different (I feel great though!)

My in laws first noticed. Mother in law commented, but when HB went out with his Dad to play golf he said in the car how amazed he was at how much I had lost and how different I look :)

Happy Days!

Guru - I'm sure people will notice soon. People didn't notice with me until 3 months into the diet - and 3 stone down! Hang in there hun :)

Hugs x x x

I am actually not that bothered this time. Although it will be GREAT to look better and wear nicer things, my motivation is a baby so I am more bothered that the fertility clinic realise I am serious about losing weight to get treatment.

A compliment after three months would be nice though ;)

You ask great questions Guru! Mine was an old colleague. His exact words were "Sh*t! You're so skinny!!! You look fantastic!"

Nothing like good old male honesty to boost your confidence! x

Ive lost 18lbs and my tennis partner and former collegue Adil noticed it last night. I hadnt told him I wa son a diet and he said "Hey Sulley have you lost weight? You are looking slimmer."

Was quite chuffed. I always thought 18lbs out of 357 was a piss in the ocean.

My neighbour noticed the other day when she came round which was nice, and my friend who has lost 8st (on LL) met up with us the other day and my husand who hasn't seen her for ages just went f**king hell - she was well chuffed :-D

People at work, I think - suddenly and all on the same day when I'd lost about 21lb (and was wearing something that fitted). Funnily enough they all said it had gone from my face. cheers - I appear to have been carrying around 21lb of lard on my cheekbones.

LOL!!

You read my mind as i was going to post on this, i was so chuffed the other day i wore a cheshire cat grin the whole day. Went to a pub near my folks that i haven't been to for months, they're a lovely down to earth bunch and have seen me shrink and grow over the years. The landlord walked in and said "alright skinny!". It took a bit to even register but he had no idea i was dieting so i am over the moon! I,m just hitting 2 stone loss from my unofficial pre cd weight so its not a major amount but my hips and thighs are the areas shrinking most so i guess its more noticable. Its times like this that make it feel all worth while, I'm so buzzed about cd at the moment! xx

the best bit is knowing yourself that you feel slimmer....
The people that see you all the time will be the last to notice....its those that you havent seen for ages that will see it straight away....!

My best mate said to me after losing 3 stone that she could "see it in my face"....insulting considering i'd dropped from an 18 to a 16! lol

xx

Yeh my face is very noticible for weight loss. Even more so when I piled it back on after LL. Belly and face it all went to.

I travel with a large group on the train, all the women know I'm on a diet. We were coming up to the end of the line and it was just me and another man (friend) on there, I was chatting to him about buying new scales and nearly forgot them on my way off the train, he ran after me with them and said 'here are the scales and nothing to do with those, but you've lost some weight' and smiled - I was skipping off the train! :) (but it could have been that he's been overhearing all the ladies conversations that's why he said something......) hmm.
