I went to iceland to see what i can buy to cook on red days so saw some chilli and lime meaty lamb chops thought they look nice and bet there not to high in syns so got them, anyway looked online there bloody 9.5 syns for 100g theres only 500g in the pack and it aint a big pack.looks like ill be bulking it out with loads of veg

god knows i wonder if there counting the fat on them,i was looking forward to them till i looked them up

I've just double checked in the food directory and you are correct! The coating may have a bit of sugar in it but I bet this is for the fat, it must be!!

What on earth is in them to make them that high in syns?? That's crazy!

I watched a show about the meat industry and how they inject meat/soak it in 'stuff' full of 'cr*p' (usually the cheaper stuff but not always).

For instance, they tested chicken breasts and found traces of pork in it.

Made me wanna throw up - I was a veggie and was tempted to go back after it. Was on a few weeks ago while we were in Tenerife (had English telly in apartment) - so caught it but was chatting too.

Maybe it's been 'treated'????

I bought some lamb mince from them a while ago and even if I put a kettle of boiling water through it in a collendar it was still full of fat.

I cooked it up the other pack I bought and gave it to the cats !
