Hi, I'm still fairly new ot the forum, so I hope this isn't a repeated thread, but I was curious about the extra easy plan.

I'm currently on the green plan pretty much exclusively - I don't really eat that much meat. Recently, I've been fancying a bit of a change - grilled chicken in some pasta sounds delicious, but I use my B's on other things, so in order to have a small chicken breast or something with dinner it usually needs to be a day I've planned ahead.

This all leads to the extra easy plan sounding brilliant. (Also perhaps a little more healthy, since carbs are abundant in my diet.)

I've been looking around the internet and there seem to be some mixed results.
I'm asking anyone who has any experience of this plan to give their thoughts here.

Did it help you lose?
Did you lose but not as much as before?
Did you gain?
Were you eating any more or less than before?

hi like you i follow the green day aswell but have only started and apart from first week it has gone on instesd of off ! i talked to my consultant who suggested i try ee . so far it is brill and i have eat less quanties as i have found i felt fuller quicker . i would say give it a go . hoping i get a loss on tue night will let you know . keep us posted on how you get on xx

You don't say Judimac lol.

I'm doing EE and finding it fine, loads of choice and not feeling hungry. I find it fits in with the rest of the family. Give it go and see how you get on.

Hi Kaitey. I stated SW a fortnight ago after reading about the EE plan in a couple of magazines (you know the type.....'Slim for Summer! Banish Those Bikini Blues!' and the like)

I have lost six pounds so far and I feel great, not like I'm on a 'diet' at all. I can't be much help because I haven't had a go at green or original, but I say don't be scared of trying something new. You seem to have a lot more choice on EE, and as other people have said, it makes it easier when cooking for others.

Consistent messages on this forum encourage variety - an EE week followed by a red, or having several days of each during the week. But the mot important thing seems to be picking which day/week you are going to have by what you fancy eating, what recipes you want to try out - anything that keeps you motivated, interested and not deprived.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for all of your replies. I think I will try it for a week or two - I'm hoping this won't slow my loss at all. Scarlet Daisy - that thread was very useful. :)
Wish me luck!

I have found that EE fits nicely into my other food plans. I tend to use it at weekends, as it is a more 'normal' way of eating, for a non-veggie.

I usually do mainly green days with the odd red or M2M thrown in...but when I do EE it allows me to stay on plan at weekends and not have to think about things too much.

I am sure you will get on ok with it. Why don't you just try a couple of EE days in the week and see how it affects your WI...and then do full weeks once you're happy it works for you?

Good luck.
