Hi All

For some strange reason the past few days including today i'm absolutely starving!!! :( :(

I can't understand it, nothing has changed. I'm drinking my regular 5+ litres of water and TOTM is over a week away (sometimes this affects me but only a day before).

My food cravings before have always been fruit and veg etc not to mention what i would do for a chicken salad but now i want stodge! I'm in week 6 now so why?

Any Ideas? :sigh:

PS. For those who know me... yes i'm still just on chocolate, don't like any bars either.

Hi Pokerstar, is there anything emotional going on at the moment? I and some others struggled big time about week 6/7. I think it is totally physcological as the boredom sets in as your are in a routine and know you are only half way thru, by week 8 you will be feeling great again!

Chin up honey, don't forget your goals an keep downing the water xxx

HI!

I have had that a lot recently also..is it any partic time of day so you can save you packs for then? Just an idea!

(((HUG)))) for you anyway... with you all the way!

almost end of week 5 (i think?!) and im constantly dreaming about food. i think im going to drown myself one of these days with all my drool ;)

i think the main reason why im craving food is the aggravation of moving house; the aggravation of waiting for the vendors to find a house so we can complete this stupid chain. this is really causing me to go nuts, feel so sad, plus im on, frustrated....and tomorrow's my bday and can't have anything good :(

just everything..sob sob

Oh Jenna I do feel for you, moving house can be such a painful business at the best of times. But what concerns me is the bit about your birthday.... Mine was exactly a week ago, and I felt just the same...utterly fed up. However, I told my group how I was feeling and got such a fabulous response from them that I determined to have a great time whatever I was doing!

So, first thing in the morning OH and I took the children tenpin bowling. Itwas honestly much more fun than I anticipated. Then we met some family in town, and I treated myself to an espresso whilst out. (Dont normally bother with that one!) Later, the children had made (at my request, as they just cooking)a cake for me. It looked lovely, as only a cake decorated by the children can! It smelt great and I did not eat a crumb! My sister visited, and as I have told no-one about LL I took a small piece, crumbled it about a bit and she never even noticed I was not eating it. In the evening we went to the pictures, just me and OH. I took a bottle of water and a Nut Crunch and was perfectly happy. My family gave me lovely scented candles, jewellery and other gorgeous non-edible stuff, I was utterly spoilt.

So you see, I had a fab day and I am SURE you will too! Even better, and my next WI I had lost another 4lb, so I felt utterly virtuous. I am sending you lots of hugs and good vibes, and a huge wish for a fantastic day. Go for it! :hug99:

Hi Sez

Thanks for your lovely message - supposingly going out with the girls tomorrow, but to honest, i really don't feel like celebrating my bday tomorrow. im in one of those moods where im being unreasonable: can't drink, can't eat. so whats the use seeing everyone eating and drinking and im like a nitwit drooling?

ah well...

Hey, I just went mad today and booked into the newest restaurant in town, for OH birthday on 24th. We are going to go with two friends, and I AM going to drink water and coffee, and have a good time!! (Well, thats the plan, all for him..awwww!)

Wishme luck, and you have a fab day tomo!

xx

Hi Sez, Why don't you make a meal of it too? Most restaurants would be happy to make up your shakes for you. My friend (who lost over 6 stone on LL last year and has kept nearly all of it off) told me that she used to do the following
Starter: savoury drink sachet
Main: bar or soup (asked restaurant to make up the soup and serve in a bowl)
Pudding- sweet shake mixed with a small amount of water so it was like a mousse

That way she didn't feel she missed out at all.

Hope you enjoy the 24th!
Kx
