Hi guys

I hope you like this, I had it earlier was really tasty :)

Could do with preparing this the night before to marinade, although i didn't :)

You will need
Steak cubed (I used diced beef but had to simmer for 3 hours to get it tender)
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 cardamom pods, bruised
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
3 teaspoons medium curry powder
200g fat free plain yogurt
2 onions, sliced
1 green pepper, chopped small
500ml beef stock
2 fresh tomatoes

Put cubed steak into a large bowl, add ginger, garlic, cardamom pods, chilli, garam masala and half the yogurt, mix all this really well. Cover, refrigerate over night or like me for just 1 hour :)

Heat some fry light, cook onions over medium heat until soft.

Turn up the heat and stir in the steak mixture until well browned.

Stir in the stock and rest of the yogurt, bring to the boil, cover and simmer.

Time depends of which beef you buy. I bought lean diced beef which needed 3 hours to get tender. If you buy a nice piece of steak i would think 45 mins.

My first recipe :) I serviced with rice, a poppadom and mint yogurt. yum yum
