I've just found a lovely FREE nibble....

Donnie46

Slow but sure....
I was preparing the salad for tonight's meal and I had an attack of the nibbles....

So, I cut a chunk of Ice Berg lettuce and broke it in half and in the 'well' I put loads of Quark soft cheese and seasoned it with salt and pepper...

It was like eating an 'Ice berg sandwich' it was really tasty, fresh and crunchy and FREE on all plans...

It's stopped my nibbles too, so can't be bad. X

Yay - fab idea!! I often have ham and lettuce "rolls" - take a lettuce leaf, lay a slice of ham on top and then add chopped tomato and onion and roll up. Not superfree like your idea though!
Well done ;-)

I've made the rolls before and they are great for just nibbling on. Fill em with most things ham, tuna, chopped egg, makes a different lunch concept and great for picnics and lunch boxes as they don't go soggy.

Ooo this sounds really nice. I used to get a piece of sandwhich ham/chicken and fit it with cheese and roll it up for a quick snack (and lots of calories) but this sounds like a yummy alternative - cheers Donnie :)

Ooh brilliant idea. My big thing is bread and I often eat them because I want to snack, rather than because I'm hungry. This actually sounds like a brilliant alternative to sandwiches or bread and butter. I'll give it a go.
