So you may remember I asked advice about a couple of dresses a few days ago? I ordered the one that I thought was more suitable-in 3 sizes as I needed to check the fit. I ordered a 14, as according to the measurements I should either fit or nearly fit into it and also a 10 and a 12. The one I have on in the picture is the size 14. (please excuse the disgusting legs-I will be wearing tights on the night-and I won't be wearing those shoes either)

It looks ok from the front but I can't do it up all the way at the back. Bearing in mind I have until 3rd October-should I still keep the size 12 or stick with the 14? I can't imagine being able to get into the 10-the material doesn't exactly 'give'

Deffo go with the 12 without a doubt, you have quite a long time yet, it could even be the 10 but just be be safe the 12 you could always have it altered slightly if you need to, very nice dress it really suits you,

I'd get the size 12 hun. Considering October is 3 months away, you could potentially loose 3 stone. Although, the gap at the back is quite big, so it may be 'safer' to get the 14 so you know it will fit. Remember: You can take in material but not add any.
It's a beautiful dress and I imagine cost a fair bit, so don't want you to be disheartened when the time comes.

I could probably do it up a little bit more-but it's only one of those thin little zips so I don't want to break it! I'll see how far hubby manages when he gets home. It's just that little bit in the middle-it would do up easily at the top and at the waist. It hangs really nicely as it's quite 'heavy' with netting underneath.
According to the size guide the size 12 should be bust 36 and waist 29-my bust now is 38 and my waist is 33.

Very very pretty! Size 12 honey, the 14 will swamp you by then. Wow, what a wonderful target to have <looks longily at the very slinky size 14 dress in wardrobe that havn't worn for years......> xxxx
PS remind me what the occasion is please?

It's a surprise birthday party for my hubby's 'big' boss. The one who owns the company. It's at a hotel-so I wanted to wear something nice-just not too 'over the top' I've got 36lbs left to lose in that time, so I should be at, or near to, my target of 9 1/2 stone by then. I ordered the Winsor Pilates dvd's on Monday so as soon as they arrive I'm going to start using them to tone up.
If the party would have come up this time last year I wouldn't have even considered going. Hubby hates his job-mainly because of the people that he works with. They tend to talk about people behind their backs and be really horrible. I couldn't have gone knowing that they would probably all be saying how awful I looked. I need to look really good and feel good about myself on that night. It's been a long time since I went anywhere...

You will most definately look fabulous! What horrid people to work with.....I hate all that 'stabbing in the back' milarky. Some gorgeous sparkly jewellery and a fab cleavage enhancing and uplifting bra and you will put them all to shame! Can't wait to see pics xx

I would be tempted to send them all back and buy a dress nearer to the time as your shape may have changed by then and you may decide you want something different anyway!!!

Looks gorgeous btw hun x

thats a loverly dress :D it made me smile a little when i saw the back, i know that feeling well ;) you doand will look lovely xx

Definitely the 12! Gorgeous dress - you look really pretty and girlie in it :)

I was thinking about that earlier on. Trouble is I really like the feel of this dress. It hangs right (and it's lovely and swishy!:D) and it's sparkly. I tried on the 12 earlier and the fit is not that much different to the 14-just a fraction more gap at the back. When I ordered the dress it was already down to low stock, so if I was to send it back and wait till nearer the time it would be gone completely.

It could be that the waist measurement of 29 would be why it would then do up at the back-as my waist is 4 inches more than that and my bust 2 inches bigger. When those inches are lost it could then enable me to do it up at the back properly.
