HI my names Emma i'm from essex and i'm 19, i weight 15.3 st and want to get to 11.
I have PCOS, which as people who have it know makes loosing weight that bit harder, im on the maximuscle diet at the mo. and am exercising at least 3 times a week.
I would appreciate any support and would like to do challenges for motivation!
Anyone know of any challenges?

Hi Emma and welcome.
Lots of ladies here have PCOS and lose plenty of weight so hopefully you should be fine on LT :)

Top tips for success:
always have all 3 shakes a day - the nutrients you get are essential to keeping you healthy
always drink at least 2litres of water in addition to the shakes (can include black coffee/leaf tea)
come on here anytime you're feeling wobbly, lost or just want to celebrate your weigh ins :)

I don't do the challenges myself but there are always some going on, just look through the threads and you'll find some to join!

hi emma and welcome to LT!!

I too have PCOS and have really struggled with weight loss before now. I'm nearly at the end of week 2 of LT and can feel a major difference already. It's so nice to be able to wear clothes which 2 weeks ago were to 'snug' for comfort!!

If you've got the right mind set and you're determined to do this then I dont think PCOS will cause any problems (at least it doesn't seem to have for me).

The first few days are the hardest but water will help and curb any hunger pangs. The biggest hurdle I've found is what to do with my time. I spend a lot of time on here reading the success stories, I have the cleanest house in the world and I've had more pamper nights that I could ever imagine!!!!!

Best of luck with it. If you need any help or support at all then this is the best place to be. x

Hi Emma

Welcome....I am reading your post that you are on Maximucle and not LT? Am I correct. Havent heard of this so cant comment on the actual diet.

For motivation - keep looking forward never backwards. If you slip up, always try and remember that gut wrenching feeling and when you are tempted next time, you can call back on the memory you have stored regarding how you feel.

My motto is always stay positive...if we start becoming negative and moaning about the fact we cant eat, or do this or do that, I feel the inevitable will happen and we will crave and cave in. Just look at the diet as a journey and once there you can learn to eat sensibly and maintain for the rest of your life!

Get support; whether from here or your peers/family..it goes a long way.

And good luck on your weight loss journey.

Hi Emma,
best of luck to you, hope your diet goes well for you. I have a mini challenge going at the moment but it is nearly up and since I will be going on holidays end of next week I may not be able to adjust it for people. However chances are someone will start a new one for August, they are a handy tool to keep us on the right track. If there is no new one in August I will start a new one when I return as I need the challenge. Again wishing you all the best.
