Oh Dear...

jessabelle

needs more willpower!
I woke up this morning with such good intentions. I had my cereal as normal and everything was ok. Then later on, i was feeling a bit crappy so i ate too many mikados, a mini curly wurly and a huge slice of the toffee and pecan swiss roll i had made (plus extra cream and licking the bowl). Normally when i bake i only eat a tiny slice then give the rest away but today i just thought "sod it!"

Oh well, i guess it's back on the wagon for me tomorrow :sigh:

We all have days like that....well, I do anyway. lol. Yep...back on the wagon tomorrow. Good luck. :)

I'm having a week like that...can't keep away from cereal bars atm
It's my class in the morning I'm determined to be 100% from then onwards!

Don't sweat it - it could've been a lot worse, at least you're ready to remount the bandwagon!

Might sound a wee bit daft, but the next time you're feeling crappy, a big steaming mug of highlights hot choc can be really soothing - have it with an alpen light choc fudge bar for less than 100 cals. I find it kind of relaxes me a bit when I'm feeling low and stressed.

Something which also helps a bit is yummy smelling non-food stuff. The Glade scented candles (Apple spice is lovely) are great. And the Body Shop does a range of fruity body butters that you'd swear are good enough to eat, and make you smell delicious all day long. Try the coconut body butter sometime, it's seriously gorgeous and makes a good distraction from food lures on rough days.

Mmm...I have Options belguim choc for 2 syns I think it is! Sooo yummy, but I never thought about nice smelling stuff around...that could work. :)

The belgian choc is lush, isn't it! Going through an 'outrageous orange' phase lately myself. Still haven't tried the wicked white choc flavour yet - must do!

Things that smell sweet can sometimes help curb the old appetite a bit. It's like your nose gets its fill of all the spices/coconut/vanilla/almond, so your gut is fooled into thinking it's had a treat. On the flipside, must admit that one of those really heady scented candles can be so sickly sweet it just puts you off the idea of eating anything! :p

Just put it behind you now, you are only human after all, just draw a line and get back on track again tomorrow. X

Just echoing what the others have said really. Don't worry about it, take a deep breath, draw a line under it and move on, tomorrow in another day. One day can't take away from the years of being a new slim you, that you have waiting ahead :)

Natt xxx
