I love the chicken soup, usually have one a day for lunch or dinner... If I am at home i put hot boiling water into my shaker or bowl, then add the shake on top then blend with hand blender... never shake it in the shaker because it explodes... In work i would put water in my shaker put the shake in and mix around with a fork, this way is a little lumpy but i like it like that in work i love the taste when its like that, it is kinda thicker that way rather than blending it, when it is stired i put it into two paper cups we use in work and have it back at my desk then, thats my routine haha :):) i really like the soup and all the shakes but i suppose everyone's taste is different... the only thing i realy didnt like were the flapjacks...

Try sparkling water, i dont like it when I am not in LT but again i love it when i am on it...I put mine in a wine glass so i feel like i am having something nice and you dont feel yourself drinking it because in a smaller glass... i think the fizz helps me with the hunger...

then other than that just plenty of water or even black tea... warms your stomach up a bit as if your having something

hope that helps a bit and good luck with it x

Hi Blondie

Sorry to hear you are finding it a bit tough...I think sometimes just writing it down helps and makes you more determined. You are at least not ignoring how you feel.

I like the soup too....I boil a kettle, then fill 400ml of this into my RONDO, which is like a blender with blades..(cant buy them over here). I whiz it up for a few seconds, then throw it in the microwave for 40-50 second, then have it in a cup. I know a lot dont like the soup, but I like the heat...as i have the shakes with ice, it makes me cold and in this weather, it aint so good!

Like nmmireland says, try some sparkly water and hot tea/coffee.

Just keep remembering why you are doing this. It isnt something you have just done on a whim, so maybe just trying to think how you feel now being overweight and that you dont want to be like that any more...might just help. It does me. I just was sick fed up being fat and feeling eveyone was watching me and judging me. For once, I was in control and I could do something about it. Probably applies to you too.

Remember, we all go through times like this......it is an extreme programme, but it is achievable. Keep positive and keep coming on here for help..dont suffer!

Take care

Thanks for your help everyone, Im gonna try and put up with it, im pottering around the house and things, but it doesnt help with the kids running round eating crisps and sweets - lol...

I just feel like grabbing a piece of cheese or something - arrgghhh

Well im gonna keep my soup for another hour or so then hopefully i wont be so hungry later.

I really wanna keep this diet up and lose the weight, you are all such a inspiration and I really take my hat off to you all as this is such a hard diet - but well worth it I bet.

Have any of you ever cheated of slipped off the wagon - so to speak ??

Ive never cheated. However I am having a 1 day break for my sons christening a week on Sunday which I find quite scary. Not sure how I will find it (And hope I dont eat too many carbs lol)

I think I'm almost the opposite of you, when I get on the diet food scares me so much. I hate refeeding because I am worried it will go back on, I dont dare stray from the diet because of how difficult I find it to loose weight. So in a way be happy that your appitite is still there because when you come to refeed you will really enjoy and appreciate it. Also you will be more proud because you will look back and think: 'Yeah, it was really difficult but you know somthing, I did it, and look at me now!'

Just another way of looking at it. :) xxx

Hi Blondie

I had a blip in my 3rd week....it was all of a sudden and wasnt massive but all the same it took me out of ketosis! My weight loss was less and it did frighten me because I could see the goal and I was blowing it because I took my eye off the ball.

NOT WORTH IT AND I DONT RECOMMEND IT ONE BIT!

Just keep remembering why you are doing this. I am just surrounded by food all the time as I grow my own fruit and veg and have been harvesting since I started the diet, so a lot of cooking/freezing had to be done! I also cook every day for my hubby..but I have just learnt that it is not for me at this moment in time. It isnt for ever and when I can eat again, I will have learnt how to control my eating and can enjoy it but make correct choices.

I suppose this diet is all about choices...and it is only us that can make the choice. No one else...there are influences, but ultimately, the buck stops with us.

Dont look at the negative but always look positively and to the future and how you want to feel and look. It is achieveable ...just look at everyones before/after pics that has finished...it is an inspiration.

Have a great weekend.

Take care
