Totally blown it

I felt so down & fedup on Wednesday that i totally fell off the wagon & scoffed a load of chinese food (you name it i had it) & a bottle of wine, now i feel so ashamed that my unhappiness has made me go bad to my old eating habits & now im finding it hard to get the motivation to get back on the diet.
Not looking forward to weigh-in day as it will definately be a gain, might just not weigh-in & see if i can get back on the diet by next week:fingerscrossed:

I blew it to on Wednesday, Thursday and part of today as my other half has been in and out of hospital recieving emergency treatment for DVT. I have eaten so badly. Come weigh in in Thursday I was pleasantly surprised to find I had lost 1lb! (Perhaps due to stress!?!?) Anyway - i tried to compensate today by going on the treadmill ffor a light jog - 2 miles in 30 minutes. But i am back on it now and I know you can do it too Mercury. Do not give up - we CAN and we WILL do it!!! Chin up x x x

p.s. sometimes having a meal off will give your metabolism a bit of a kick so that your weight doesn't plateux (excuse the spelling!) when is your weigh in day?

Hi Kay
Sorry to hear about the probs your OH is having i hope all works out ok.
My weigh-in day is Mon, im still finding it hard to be good on the food front & guess what, had some more wine last night, i know im not doing myself any good by doing this but i'll get the weekend out of the way & try again next week.
Good luck with the diet & CONGRATS on you 1lb loss great stuff.

IMHO it's better NOT to miss a weigh-in. Bite the bullet, get weighed & start over rather than spending a week trying to play catch up and feeling guilty about what's gone before that you can't change. x
