Woman who lost 30 stone

Its on now on channel 5 9pm-10pm, she weighed 45 stone and has stomach reduction surgery.

OMG That poor woman, its amazing how much skin they have taken.

Wow that was amazing to see what she went through. Made me feel a little nervous though about my op.....lol

What a great programme, it moved me to tears. My saggy thighs and bingo wings put into proportion. I am so glad I found LL and didn't go for weight loss surgery....don't think it would have been for me. I hate the fact that she is malnourished with her life ahead of her and the little boy to look after. What a brave woman.

Sonkie, are you having your op in Derriford ? I had one there in 2003 and it was all fine !

i just caught last 30 mins what a brave and rich lady had to turn away though when they showed the leg op ughhhhh

I didn't see it last night but was it a repeat. I'm sure I saw I before. Was she starting to get a bit addicted to the surgery and hunting around for surgeons that were prepared to do it?

I think near the end of the show she came to England but the Surgeon refused to carry out any more surgery on her as it was too risky.

Yes in Derriford, though I have no question on my surgeons ability as he is one of the top hernia surgeons in the country.....He also goes to africa and does surgery over there with another surgeon.

Yes thats right Dizzy, she was from America and weighed 45 stone until they took out most of her stomach....which was huge in itself. After losing 30 stone she had loads of saggy skin all over. She had surgery to remove skin from round her bottom and back, continuing to her tummy in one long piece of skin......urgh !
Then she had to recover from this op. Her next op was for her thighs, first off having liposuction to remove around 3 litres of fat from each thigh. then stitched on the inner thigh from just below the knee up to crotch. This ended up going bad and was left with crater like scars. Then she came to the Uk wanting breast surgery, but the Uk dr said it was too risky as her body hasnt had a chance to recover from previous surgery. So she got up and wallked out, but she still cant eat enough so she is malnourished.
