Mixing HEXs

Are we able to do this? Say for example I want to have beans on toast for breakfast and I have 1 piece of toast. Well, I can have 2 pieces for my HEXB but I only want 1. Does this mean that later in the day I can also have 3 Finn Crisps Thins (half of what you are allowed as an HEXB) and put this together with my one slice of bread to make 1 HEXB?

i don't do this but lots of people do. I guess if you're mixing the same kinds of things it would be ok (like the bread and finn crisps) but i'm not sure if you did it with something like bread and meat?

I was only thinking of doing it with the bread/crispbreads. 1 slice of toast is enough for breakfast but I just didn't want to waste the other slice! And Finn Crisps are perfect to take to work for morning break (avoid temptation of biscuits in the staff room!)

I asked this at the meeting last night as I wanted to know if I could half the amount of skim milk and 3 of the extra light cheeses as an A choice. I was told no but I dont really understnad why not lol

Weird. I'll have to ask my consultant at my meeting next week.

I do this all the time, I think some Consultants will say that it's not allowed because people might get confused, others will say yes, but make sure it's done properly.

i have done it before and its never made a difference for me

Sounds OK, but I should clear it with your consultant just to be sure, well done on your dieting so far, you are doing well. X
