Welsh Rarebit


Ingredients:-

1 Egg
1 tsp Mustard Powder
1 tsp Mild Paprika
4 tbsp Freshly Chopped Chives
4oz/113g Cheddar Cheese
8 Slices Wholemeal Bread (400g Loaf)
Fry Light


Method:-


Separate the egg and whisk the egg white into soft peaks.

In a separate bowl mix together the yolk, mustard powder, paprika and chives.

Finely grate the cheese, stir into the yolk mixture and then gently fold the egg white mixture until well combined.

Spray the bread with fry light and toast lightly on each side.

Spoon the egg mixture onto the toast and grill for a further 2-3 minutes until puffed up and nicely browned.

Serve with grilled tomatoes.
