FRESH CROMER CRABS....

Donnie46

Slow but sure....
We went to Cromer early this morning and they were selling fresh caught Cromer Crabs on the pier (you have to be early to get any) they sell so quickly.

So I bought 2 lovely sized crabs which were dressed for me and then I bought some prawns and fresh crusty bread.

So served with a lovely salad (and new potatoes for my hubby) this is our is meal tonight, lovely......followed by my homemade youghurt and fresh strawberries.

What's on your menu tonight....

Chicken fahitas (spelt wrong I know) do them with lots of pepers and onions. OH and kids have them with the wraps, cheese & sour cream. I have the chicken on a jacket potatoe (doing extra easy) and a blob of total 0% greek yogurt. yummy!!!!..... might do grilled fruit kebabs for dessert.

well DOH is having enchiladas so i will have half the mince mixed with 1/4 of the seasoning which i syn at 2 syns with my own spicy rice mixed with s/corn mmmmmmmmmm

I am doing the Quorn Moussaka from the latest SW magazine.
It looks really yummy.
My hubby likes SW food so he'll like it too.
He eats SW then stuffs his face with cakes :D
That's ok for him as he doesn't need to lose (yet!)

I've never eaten crab! Despite now living near the sea! I bought 2 tins of crab meat when our local Safeway closed down, (about 5 years ago!) and keep meaning to use it with chilli and spaghetti.

I am going to Donnie's for tea...

I had 2 quorn bramley apple sausages & a lean pork chop....

in a ruch to eat as going out on the tiles

xx

Crab is really nice, it's sweet and taste's of the sea, strange way of describing it, but it really does taste and smell of the sea.

I always have the crab dressed as I hate having to mess and do it myself, I usually get more shell than meat when I've finished, it costs a little extra but it's worth it.
