Hey Huni...never mind that you didnt reach your mini goal for your birthday (hope you had a good one by the way?!). Just think how you will feel when you do get that size 14!
I always find that if I set myself mini targets, I never achieve them and I am always gutted!
Now, I just wait to see what I achieve.

Take care

Happy Birthday mate

I never set myself mini targets- I have no expectations for what I will weigh next week, next month or next year. I just know that if I am less than now it is a true success.

Please try and see all the positive things you have achieved by your losses to date. Like everything in life, if we focus on negatives it will only make it harder to achieve our goals, long term.

Have a great day xxxxxxxxxxxx

no, i dont think that i will set a mini target anymore other than to be lighter than my hubby.

would really like to loose 1/2lb a week as that would be nearly two stone in a year.

That was what I always had in mind when I started- I saw Fern Britton had lost 5 stone over 2 years and looked fabulous.......and then realised it was only half a pound a week that caused such a difference.

In reality I have lost 1lb a week, so am delighted, but if it slows right down I don't care- I am in this for the long-haul. Quick fix diets are not for me as I always end up heavier. This is taking me time- and I am teaching myself that small changes and tiny losses add up to one big achievement

I really wish you absolute success. To be able to say on your 40th birthday that you are on a positive journey towards a healthier lifestyle and a more positive body image is a real success- dress sizes are of no consequence when you compare it to that

Brilliant advice! Happy Birthday!

Happy 40th!!!

Can't add much to CocktailPrincess's advice, which is fab. You've been losing though, and just think that if you hadn't been on plan and trying to lose, you wouldn't be any closer at all to being a 14! At least you're on the way there now.

Have a fabulous birthday xxx

Happy Birthday Tara! (wish I was 40 again!)

Happy Birthday Tara!
Just have fun and enjoy your flexi syns.
You'll be in that size 14 in next to no time!
