Thinking about giving it a go...

Hey,

I've been on this forum a few times started off with Cambridge diet, came off that after getting ill and put all of my weight back on and more  Then I tried slimming world for a bit and then completely give up on diets for the last 6 months.

I'm thinking about giving weight watchers a go, I don't want to go to classes as I can't afford it and I hate the clapping and humiliation...some people love it but it just does my head in!

I still have some books from about 8 years ago, I was just wondering how much WW has changed since then and want to know any tips on getting started up with weight watchers,

any comments would be appreciated!

Thanks guys xx

Hi, I'm new to this forum and am in a similar situation. I desperately need to lose a lot (and i mean a whole lot) of weight.
I know some people who have gone to WW and swear by it. I lost 4 stones with them years and years ago.
They now seem to have a 'simpler' points system and something called the 'discovery plan'. My friend told me to get this Plan AND buy a points calculator and some points scales from ebay.

I'm trying to do just that but in meantime, have 'cut down' on certain foods e.g cakes, crisps etc and replaced high fat items with lower fat ones.
SO far have lost 13lbs!! BUT A LOT MORE TO GO.

Good luck with it all!!

It is so expensive to buy them on ebay. Better to go to the classes for a few weeks to get all the books and then do it alone

I do it online and you get all the tools that you need...it's only £25 for 3 months and I have lost 92lbs so far... Weight watchers if the best diet that I have done so far...I love it.
