advanced passenger information


please have a look at this before you go anywhere, do a goodle/ask search and speak to your travel agent

apparently since it came in there have been mega queues at the airports, they need to know (in advance) about your name, DOB, nationality, PPort ref etc. and apparently (my friend was stung and nearly missed his flight) they need to have details before you get to airport

who does this apply to? I dont get what it is, sorry X

I beleive it applies to everyone who is travelling abroad, if you have a quick google of 'Advanced Passenger Information' then it might be clearer than me.

I went into our travel agency lasy week (we're going to Spain in October) and they said they knew this applied and would have contacted us nearer the time for details, but they were glad we brought them in.

doesnt apply for cyprus, so one less thing to think bout, may stil be delays though cos of it x

i filled it in online on the monarch website for spain. its easier if you do it through who you booked with but you will be able to do it at the airport. just leave enough time. I did it for america online but they still made me do it again at the airport and upon landing. m sure i didnt do it when i went to spain in may but i know i have done it for spain this time. took 2 mins. the hardest part is getting the link to open but i wouldnt worry too much if you leave plenty of time to check in.
