Dangerous times

I've lost nearly 2 1/2 stone and now slide easily into a size 16. I was a size 20/22 7 weeks ago, so am well chuffed. the trouble is I feel like I'm coming into my dangerous time. Everyone keeps saying how much weight I've lost and how much different I look, and how I shouldnt lose much more. I still have 2 stone to go but because I look so much better my CB is telling me that I dont need to carry on because I'm ok now. I know I'm not and I'm not going to stop or break the diet but I know this is a dangerous time, just wondered if anyone else gets like this?

Good grief yes!!! You just have to beat your CB over the head with a chair, then cover it with the mound of clothes that no longer fit you cos you are getting so darn skinny!! :superwoman:

hehehe that made me giggle!!

So true, Peoples perceptions are so funny, with me, because I had never been slim as soon as I shed 3 stone then it all started, dont lose too much, stop, you dont look like you,:blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah:.

Massive danger time for me, luckily I found a friend I knew I could trust, she's a poster on here and we met because of CD, and, the best bit, hadnt seen me at my heaviest so could be very honest and tell me when enough was enough if I wasnt sure. Have you got anyone like that to help??

It is hard becasue of the fast loss, brains dont catch up so we never see oursleves as we are! I knew in the end when it was time for me to stop, before going too far and also before sabbotaging, but my main tip is to get to the goal that you wanted, that will be a fix for you, I did that to make sure I would never go over it again x

Hi
Well i have not reached that point with my weightloss yet, but my cdc has warned me about ppl getting "happy" because they look ok now and then they sometimes start cheating and stuff. I say carry on until you have reached your main goal you will feel alot better for it. goodluck:)

Oh yeah - this has got me in a headlock several times!!

I find it really helps to go by my BMI. If it's over 25 - I'm fat! If it's under 20 (like - if ever!!!) then I'm too thin.

Anything else is unacceptable and my CB can go take a running jump (that's a polite way of putting it lol)

xxxx

I am having that - altho the difficult BF wants me to be anorexic (sorry 8 stone!). Everyone else keeps saying I should stop now ehere I am because I look so much nicer. But I wanted to t do this to take charge of my health too - and with my family history of CV disease, it will always be a bonus to be on the slimmer side. I say keep going babe, and judge by your health (I guess we all have BMI 25 as a goal for that reason?).

Take care,

Well done on your great loss. Ignor the comments you will know when you have got to the weight you want to be. When people say to me "dont go too thin" I tell them that me, my CDC and my doctor will be the ones who decide when the time to stop is.......no one else will have a say inculding my husband because this is my journey and not theirs.
