Body Wraps? Worth It?

As you can tell I'm looking at ways to lose inches online at the moment! Found this, I remember someone saying they'd tried it and it worked, no idea if the effects stayed though! Anyone tried them? Worth a try?

Not tried any of these, but Witchy has done this sort of thing.
The Sanctuary also have a pack of body wrap things.
In Zest this month there is an article on them and the Universal Contour Wrap, £64 at salons, resulted in a 10in lose on the readers body in one treatment!

Just also wanted to say that I'm not sure they'd work or be worth it on CD. Think the premise of them is that they draw out excess water from your body, but generally because of the low carbs on this diet, we don't have excess water do we?

I saw the Contour thingy one too, it said it didn't work on water, but I don't know! I don't know whether it's worth doing them either. If they're totally temporary. And won't work that well with the diet. Two things I don't know about!

Body wraps are very temporary and as soon as you start drinking water, you'll put the inches back on again. They're great if you've got a night out and want to lose a couple of inches to get into a dress or something, but not a long term solution.

Have you tried toning exercises? I've been doing them since the start and have lost lots of inches that way - and they're staying off!

Yup I have, well, I am doing toning exercises. I've started doing stomach crunches and some other toning exercises which I'm going to try and do every day. I was looking at the best exercises for it, when I came across this link so just wondered about them. Thinking it might be worth a try if there's ever a night out, like you said, to fit into a dress, or just feel that bit better. I didn't think it would be all that permanent really. I'm also going to try and get back to the gym and swimming.
