Pizza!

Hi guys,



I'm a pizza lover so imagine my distress when I looked up the points for various Dominos foods in the Food Directory!! 10 syns for a dip!!!!!!! I won't even mention how many in a slice of pizza!

Does anyone have a good recipe for pizza for me please? I love cooking from scratch so just need an idea of how to make it, syns, red or green day etc.

Have you tried the Smash Pizza??
Smash made up quite thick (with just water), placed on a tray sprayed with frylight and baked in very hot oven...turn over to make other side crispy.
Top with passata mixed with garlic and herbs and then chopped mush, sweetcorn, peppers, ham (free on EE) and an allowance of grated cheese..put back in oven until cheese melted and crispy...delicious and syn free on a Green Day and EE day!

I have to try that smash pizza... I have a desire for pepperoni, must look up the syns for that... :S

Does it actually taste like smash though, that would be my comment because I don't like smash It sounds amazing other than that!

If you buy a polenta roll, and slice it, you can use that for bases for mini pizzas and it is yummy and syn free.

It will probably be by the italian stuff, pastas and sauces etc

I use a wholemeal roll halved HEb, I fry some onions add herbs and chopped tomatoes, reduce it down till its like pizza topping, I then spoon it on the bread top with a bit of mozzarella HEa the remainder of the sauce can be frozen or do the same for the rest of the family (white bred if desired) pop it in the oven for about 10 minutes. sin free pizza 2 HE's on a green day.

Ooh I like that one! I like a big thick base so that would do it.
