I have just found out you can eat the leaves too in salads, stir fry and soup. They are peppery like watercress. Its free food in more ways than one if you grow your own. Bonus.

Yep, but only if they are nice and small, when they get big n hairy they're not so nice!! Beetroot leaves can be eaten too. :)

They are OK if you eat them while they are young leaves, but the older they get the hairer and they have a bitter taste, personally I would rather eat watercress....so pick the leaves when they are young.

You can buy a bunch of watercress, root some in water then plant them out and keep them well watered. My radishes attracted the slugs!
