First shrinking Alpen's....now mullerlights!!...

flabbybumbum

On a mission
Well, after a discussion last week as to whether alpen bars are shrinking or not...........

Has anyone noticed that the 'special' mullerlights, choc/cherry combo etc - when you open the lid, they only come 2 thirds of the way up the pot, yet the normal flavours reach practically the top!!!

Ok, so you can now certify me insane, but I know what i see...........!!

I agree on this one, I thougth my husband had eaten some of my muller light whilst I made a brew!

I had to apologise when he opened his and it was the same.

pmsl...I love that. Blame the husband!!! :D

Not had a ML in a while but will be checking myself. How rooode!!! x

Not had a Mullerlite large pot for a while, but have some in the fridge, so will be checking!
I agree with the Alpen bars though...they are definitely getting smaller...its a good thing we can have 2 of them or I would seriously be complaining!

Oh yes, I clocked this one - they are 165g and a normal muller is 200g (I think)

The cheek of it.......

Are they the ones from the multipacks, the MLs? Just thinking, things that come in multipacks are often a bit smaller aren't they. Packets of crisps and chocolate are usually a few grams smaller...I know curly wurly bars are!

That does not explain the Alpen lights though, which are getting smaller and there are less in the box. Stupid Alpen *considers boycotting*

I was trying to work out what worked out cheaper in the supermarket and got confused by it all until I realised the weights were different!

If only they made all the stuff that made us overweight in the first place smaller, like muffins and chocolate cakes, maybe we wouldn't be in this boat now. And, why do you never see buy one lettuce get one free etc. Anything that is good for us costs a fortune and all the c**p is always on offer. Maybe the diet industry is in league with the fresh produce industry lol. Sorry for the rant, feeding 5 people 3 meals a day on £70 a week is a bit of a challenge at the best of times lol.

By golly you are right - just checked, the multipack ones are 165g and the individual ones 200g. But they are in exactly the same size pot!! How very crafty of muller!
And even better news - I am not quite certifiable!!

Just checked mine as i bought choccy multipack today and some singles...and it's a damn cheek! I can't get the choc ones individually so have to get the multipack. i agree with Helli GRR@Muller!

It's not just the multipack ones that are smaller - the individally bought choc sprinkles are also only 165g.

I can never find them in our Morissons, I'm sure someone is stockpiling them!

Omg, iv noticed about mullers too.. i had start to wonder about the alpen lights.. and has anyone noticed that a couple of batchs of mullers, vanilla with choc sprinks barly have any sprinkles in them! .. i swear to god my entire batch this week has had about five sprinkles in each! not impressed!
