ive restarted sw after moving house, and im on day 3... the headaches are awful... is this due to the lack of sugar etc?

Are you drinking enough? De-hydration can cause headaches, try to drink at least 2 litres or more a day.

I would definitely question whether you are drinking enough if you are getting headaches Huni...that shouldnt happen.

Are you eating lots of Muller Lights. There have been a few discussions on here about the sweetener in them that can cause some people headaches. I get them quite often.

Sorry to hear of the head pain !, It could be a number of things ..... change of diet, stress, dehydration, you mention sugar,, do you suffer any degree of Hypoglycemia.

Explained:

Hypoglycemia or hypoglycaemia is the medical term for a pathologic state produced by a lower than normal level of blood glucose. The term hypoglycemia literally means "under-sweet blood" (Gr. hypo-, glykys, haima).
Hypoglycemia can produce a variety of symptoms and effects but the principal problems arise from an inadequate supply of glucose as fuel to the brain, resulting in impairment of function (neuroglycopenia). Derangements of function can range from dysphoria or "feeling bad" to coma, seizures, and (rarely) permanent brain damage or death. Hypoglycemia can arise from many causes and can occur at any age. It also sometimes occurs at what appears to be random intervals.

Have introduced something new into you diet, as the slightest of changes can set of headaches.

The hayfever period is now with us, do you suffer from this ?

Are you on medication ? side effect of many medications are headaches.

Do wear glasses, are you due a eye check up, or similarly have you had a eye check up within the last year. Have you been doing any close up work, screen work. Extensive Night driving, Driving in bright sunlight without sunglasses.

I found when I started I had headaches, and I put it down to sugar withdrawal symptoms. I also had horrendous mood swings as well for about 2 weeks.

But it's worth it in the long run. I feel so much happier and healthier now!

Keep up the good work!
