Slow but sure....
we are due to be weighed, we are worried and dreading getting on those scales :fingerscrossed: - and then we are up in the air when we have been weighed because we have had a loss and we were worrying for nothing :wee:

There has to be something psychological there I think, or maybe our confidence takes a nose dive on WI day :sigh:

What do you think?.....
 
Definitely agree with you there. We have this ability to beat ourselves up over facing the scales, even though we may have been good!
Its like walking through Customs at an airport...you cant help looking guilty!! Lol
 
Yep! I dread it too and am then delighted if I lose. But I never know what's going to happen and always think the worst...so if I do lose, it's a winner!!!
 
My stomach is always in knots come weigh day even if I know I've stuck to it 100% all week. Must have a naturally guilty concience
 
It's for that very reason that I keep on going to SW as a target member. I need that fear to keep me on track and stop me from piling it all back on again.

I'm mostly down when I don't deserve a gain/STS and get one but mostly I put on cos I deserve it!

Agree though, not good for us!
 
I think it's the same fear/anxiety you feel before opening an exam result or checking the bank balance at the end of the month (hehe).

Does anyone else suck their tummy in, like it makes a difference? HA! xxx
 
I was quite relaxed as I stepped on the scales last night as I KNEW I'd put weight on, it was just a question of how much! You could have knocked me over with a feather when she said I'd stayed the same!!!!!!!
 
Ha ha....oh yes I do, and I try to make my 4' 11" height look taller, doesn't make any difference though, LOL....
 
i always breathe out as i step on the scales - cos air weighs LOADS dontcha know ;) LOL
 
Made me smile how everyone queued for the loo before they got on the scales, but yeah I'm the same always feeling guilty even when I've been a star before getting on the scales. I just don't trust by body to be doing what it should be doing lol. xx
 
It's interesting, because you could of have a brilliant week, been to the gym 4 times, stuck to plan 100% and have a gain or sts. Or you could of been really really naughty and lazy, and have a great loss! It's all very confusing.

Hope for the best, expect the worse and you wont be disappointed!
 
i dread weigh in i also get worried each morning that suddenly overnight i will have gone up a dress size and my new clothes wont fit as dont have any old sizes lol
 
Maybe I'm odd, but I love Wednesday's. I like going and seeing the scales go down, and if they go up, I pretty much always know why. I can't wait to get my next mini target and seeing how far away I am etc
 
went to a new class today, was fantastic, I can't wait to go back again, all were very welcoming and the leader was smashing. Hope this will make my weight loss easier.
