FOOD MENTIONED Aaah right, well I have had a couple of planned nights off, we went to 2 concerts and it was Father's Day on Sunday so went out with hubby and children.... I try and pick healthy stuff, although the first concert we went to I had a slight problem. I read the menu at home, picked something that sounded tasty and was not too bad and when we got there they had a special concert menu and didn't have my choices on it. So I picked lamb kebabs with salad and gave the pitta bread to hubby, I had also decided to have a dessert of Strawberries, plain yoghurt and a spoon of honey, but no they didn't have that either, so blew it with a cheesecake.... doh, but the weight gain wasn't too bad and I was prepared for it, I also only drank diet coke so no alchohol problems... Sunday was a bit different, I am closer to goal and feel that occasionally I need to have a meal which I want and which isn't necessarily the healthiest option.... this time I had chips as there was no salad option, I would have opted for the salad if given the choice, and I did eat the chips, I then had honeycomb cheesecake for dessert, again not the healthiest option, but I ate everything slowly and savioured the taste and so felt fuller sooner... I only put on 1lb and have managed to lose that already, so am really pleased.... seeing as after CD we should be eating healthier options, maybe now is the time to put that in to practise... I have found my tastes have changed and I dont want the stodgy food I once did. My plan once I reached goal was to have a chinese chicken curry with rice, but I no longer want that....
