Hi all,

well, end of day 2, blimey never eaten as much chicken in one day!!
there does not appear to be many low carb'ers around at the minute, is there any one out there ? :wave_cry::wave_cry:

Might try and get a protein shake for tomorrow, can anybody recommend one that would be suitable.

Think I need to look at making some soups for a bit of a change, have to find out my cook books to help keep me on track.

Hey Jo, been in work all day n then did the fathers day thing round at the parents for tea.

I've tried the ready made Tesco's own low carb shakes and personally i didn't like them at all but then i've had 3 months of CD shakes so i'm probably scarred for life! haha..

Have a look in the recipe thread at the top of the forum, there's some soup recipes in there hun.. I thought about doing the mushroom one soon and like you say, it'll make a nice change!

I'm getting bit bored of omlettes, meat n salad or meat n veg.. i'd do better if i planned my meals better but working shifts doesn't always allow to.

Well done on getting through the second day hun

It is quiet at the mo...but some of us are around lol

Jo next week I plan to be more organised to. This is the last week of school before our holidays and I jsut need to get through it.

Mushroom soup sounds good. I may even think about have walnuts in my salad's!

Hi Jo,

I don't eat much chicken, I don't really like it. I do eat loads of meat though and loads of fat. :)

I eat plenty of chicken, but only really enjoy thighs. I think chicken breast is boring and bland.

I also eat lots and lots of plain pork ribs, usually greasy and totally delish!

But my most favorite meat is lamb. I bought a small shoulder of lamb and waffled the lot on its own one night last week.

I love Lamb as well, it's my favourite meat I reckon.

Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings from Sainsbury's hot meat section are absolutely fantastic, if you are ever in a bind looking for a meal to eat on the road :)

thanks guys for your suggestions, i have done ok today, been and had a look at some atkins bars and i have bought the peanut one, looks and sound lovely, but i am keeping it for an emergency situation, as i am on phase one.

Hi Jim, got to say it you look great. i just hope i have the willpower and discipline to keep going.

Lovely juicy lamb and it has to have the best tasting fat. Especially when it has gone all crispy.

Hmmmm. Am off shopping tonight and I think lamb chops might just be on the menu for dinner. It's just a shame its so damn expensive in comparison to other meat!

I don't think you can have the peanut one on induction but you CAN have the other advantage bars! :)

Yes you are right pennyjane, i have just read they are for phase 2 onwards, better get that out the way then, because when I have a weak moment I will inhale it, :p
