hi
i am feeling a bit fed up - i thought RTM would be really exciting eating again - but i'm actually getting bored with fruit and salad and yogurty type stuff

i really want something with some 'bite' to it ( think i mean carbs lol!)

someone inspire me please!

Felt exactly the same way in week 2-3. Passata etc was a big help for me. Also increasing range of fruit & veg helped significantly.

Food shouldn't be boring, there's a huge World of flavours and textures out there you just need to experiment with things that otherwise you'd not try. Don't be afraid of not liking something, JDI :)

hi sean
i know i shouldn't be bored, and i'm not really....just was feeling a bit grumpy yesterday.
had an egg in an egg cup for breakfast for the first time in years today - i make them for the kids all the time, was lovely!

i'm looking forward to cooking some of the recipes i've been looking at over the last few months and i guess i'm frustrated as i want to be able to eat anything and control cals etc.... but am an impatient sort of person!

i will wait as i know it will be worth it!

can't stop nibbling at night tho - just got to make sure it keeps on being the frozen fruit portions and yog and doesn't turn into other stuff!

Ooh boiled eggs. Would be lovely to have one with the kids on a weekend. I have to watch them enjoy eggs and soldiers at the moment. I believe egg whites are on option from week 1 RTM, but when can you start eating the yolks?

You aren't alone with feeling like something to nibble on in the evenings. I know I need to save a pack for the late(ish) evening and will need to have something available to me at that time when I start eating again. xx

whole eggs week 3 t_i

done really well today, reckon the egg at breakfast set me up for the day!

What about LL porridge for breakfast with a handfulof frozen fruit chucked in before you zap it and a dollop of 0% yogurt on top. That would see you through till lunch.
tHE firstfew eeks of RTM are boring, but it's short lived and allsorts get added in.
As Del Boy would say " the world is your lobster".

have had porridge with the fruit - will try with yog too!
it doesn't seem to fill me up tho for some reason, may have for supper tomorrow instead
