Please share how you plan on reaching goal & moving up the plans xxx

What are your plans for getting to goal regarding moving up the plans?

I had originally decided on getting to 9st 3lbs (6lbs off goal) on 810 and then losing the next 6lbs by moving up the 3 plans over 6 weeks.

But.......I'm now thinking in 10days of moving up to 1000 plan and staying there untill I reach my goal. Then using 1250 to maintain for a bit and maybe lose a little more before moving to 1500.

My lowest weight as an adult was 8st 6lbs which is still in the healthy zone so I may want to get a little closer to that. :)

ooOOOOOOoOOhhhhhhhh it's exciting thinking about this. x for me anyway lol

What are you thinking you're going to do or if you're already working through the plans please tell me what's working for you.

Not sure really. My CDC wants me to set 11 stone as a goal, but I want to set 10 stone. I think when I get to 11 stone I'll start working up the programmes.
Probably do 810 and then see how it goes.

You're doing so well! I would be excited too. Feels like I have a bit of a way off before getting too excited though :)

It's just interesting to me to see what others are thinking. It's funny how our thoughts change throughout the diet :)

Thing is we'll all reach the point where we will need to decide one day and with CD results it hopefully will happen sooner than we think. I mean i'm on day 61 now which is weird for me.

Think it's good to look forward, it motivates me loads xxx

ps- that's a big difference- 1 stone- regarding what you and your cdc wants to set as your goal xxx You're doing really really well x
 
Yes, I think she wants me to set realistic goals. 10 stone is slap in the middle of healthy BMI. Will see how I feel when I get to 11 stone.

Agree about looking forward being motivating. I think because I STS I've been a bit less motivated! Scales are moving now though and am going to clear out some old clothes later on and make some room in my wardrobe :)
 
I want to get to 10.5 so just over a stone to go, i would like to stary moving up the plans at 11st but have considered moving to ss+ next week this is shut my family up who go on and on about not eating at all with ss.

Its a great time for me even being at this weight, Im starting to like the new me at last.

CD has been fantastic best thing ive ever done.
 
i will ss or ss+ right up until Goal which is 12 stone 6 - just within the healthy BMI range.

i then plan on doing 2 to 3 weeks on each step (if i have SS'd right up until Goal then i will do SS+ for a week to get used to food again) and hopefully lose 6lbs in that time to get me to my dream goal of 12 stone. have no idea how i'll look at that weight, hopefully good!
 
It's mad isn't it...thinking what an earth we'll look like at our goal weights. Even if we've been that weight before, we'll still look very different. Well I will anyway.

I wanted to 810 all the way to goal but i find it harder and harder so 1000 is hopefully more sustainable for me. I can't imagine how it will feel to be able to have fruit with my porridge. I used to live on fruit all the time .......ooohhh can't wait xxx
 
I have rest my goal for BMI of 24.5 insead of 23 which is still in my healthy range. I might twiddle with it nearer the time.

I have to do my 810 week the week after next so depending ont he losses for this and next week I will decide where to go from here...
am only 9lb away from bmi28 So I might get to BMI 27 and then go on 810 to nearer goal...
difficult isnt it until we get a wee bit nearer..

Im no where near goal but i plan to get to 145 with ss/ss+ and then go up to 810 till 135 and after that start to stabilise up through the plans 2 weeks at a time. It is recommended that each step you go up you should stay at for at least a week but the more you had to lose the little bit longer you should stay at each step. I had 7 st to lose so I will stay 2 weeks at each step up, but, its a while a way for me.

Tell me about it. This last 20lbs is going to be painful i reckon! fingers crossed its not 1.5 - 2lbs a week every week as that would be so annoying!
 
I have been struggling for weeks, so I moved up to SS+ when I reached just over 11 stone, but last week I decided to move up to 810 and still managed to lose 2lb that week which is just as good as my losses on SS+ but I have tweaked the 810 to suit myself, I now have a 150 cal breakfast from the 1000 cal plan and cut out a shake as the diet is now draining our finances, so works out around 850, I think I will stick at this until I get to goal of 10 stone, was 10 stone 12lb when weighed last week. Then I will move up the plans with 2 weeks at each.... will definately be sticking to it during my weeks holiday at the end of July, I haven't come this far to blow it for a week, I am also training my way of thinking so that I dont feel tempted to binge and always try to have healthy options...
 
My CDC advises (and Im happy to follow this) loosing the last stone through moving up the plans as in her words this is the best way to avoid putting weight on, so the last stone will be much slower but is probably the most important one as I'll be re-educating myself about what a "normal" diet is on the way to goal. So I'll be SS untill 12 stone then up the plans to loose the last stone, might only be another 5-6 weeks till Im there if my looses keep up and I avoid any blips!
 
well done angela! we will get there, even if the last little bit is a bit slower. isn't it funny how we each have different plans to reach our goal.
