Hello all!

I've finally realised I can't keep eating like I did and not suffer the consequences so I've come back to SW. I'm an old hand having done it a few times since the early 90's. My weight has varied from OK to a little overweight to more than enough :cry:. After a bad few months with more heartbreak than I care to ever remember or experience again, my diet & my drinking habits have been shocking and I should be the size of a house. So for my sanity I'm back.

Just wanted to say hello to all - your posts are so inspirational and very useful. I'm going to post my food diary as much as I can to keep me on the straight and narrow. Any pointers or comments always welcomed and I hope I can do the same for everyone else.


Weds 17/6/09 - EE
B - Porridge (HEB) & S/Milk (HEA)
L - 2 egg omlette, 2 quorn sausages, lots of toms & m/rooms, brown sauce (1syn)
D - Home made quorn chilli, rice & big green salad
S - 2 x free yogs, tons of fruit
Syns - Options (2), WW Cheesy snacks (3), Fruit pastille lolly (3) Honey (2) plus above = 12

Thurs 18/6/09 - Green
HEA - 1oz Cheddar
HEB - 1oz parmasan, Ryvita Minis
B - fruit salad & m/light
L - Mushroom risotto & large green salad
D - Quorn chilli & syn free chips
S - 1 free yog, fruit
Syns - Bacardi (4), Magners Cider (7) = 11

I was so stuffed last night but it felt good!
 
Friday 19/6/09 - EE
B - 2 Morrisons no syn pork sausages, 2 bacon, 1 dry fried egg, tons of toms & m/rooms
L - Tuna Jacket, cheddar (HEA), mixed salad, activia 0% yog
D - Chicken & veg curry, rice
S - grapefruit, nectarine, grapes, ryvita minis (HEB)
Syns - brown sauce (1), mayo (1.5), curry paste (2), bacardi (5) = 9.5 (Total=32.5)

First time I've tried the Morrisons sausages - very nice but do fancy trying Joes Sausages.

Saturday 20/6/09 - EE
B - 2 morrisons syn free sausages, 2 bacon, 1 egg, toms and m/rooms
L - Left over chicken curry & rice
D - Tuna pate (from red book), m/light with sprinkles :)
S - fruit salad, shape yogurt, m/light, grapes,
Syns - brown sauce (1), curry paste (2), bacardi (5) = 8
Total = 40.5
HEA - milk
HEB - bread

Sunday 21/6/09 - EE
B - Fruit salad & shape FFL yogurt
L - Sirloin steak, jacket pot, m/rooms, peas, 1 onion ring, small salad
D - Chicken stuffed with philly (HEA) & wrapped in bacon, syn free mini roasters, salad
S - Ryvita minis (HEB), Shape FFL yog, grapes
Syns - Onion ring (guessing on 1), wine 9 = 10
Total = 50.5

Went out for lunch to a pub dad recommended for father's day - very disappointing so need to have a lovely dinner to make up for it!

Monday 22/6/09 - EE
B - Fruit salad & shape FFL yogurt
L - Pasta n sauce (1/2 syn), m/light, grapes
D - BBQ - Salmon fillet / chicken kebab, lots of green salad, jacket pot, morrisons syn free sausage, yogurt
S - ryvita minis (HEB)
HEA - milk
Syns - pasta (1/2), wine (15 Hicccc!), honey (1) = 16.5
Total = 67

Having a 'funny' day - not very hungry. Have stuck to plan 100% all week but feeling very bloated & fat - think it's the weather :confused: .

D - hubbies spag carbonara (delicious!!!!)
S - Cherries, ryvita minis (HEB),

D - chicken tikka masalla (WW recipe, syn free), rice
S - shape yog, orange, quavers, quark dip, carrot & pepper sticks, 2 alpen lights (HEB)
HEA - milk
Syns - quavers 4.5, brown sauce 1, red sauce 1, choc mousse 5 = 11.5
Total = 11.5

Having a really munchy day today - I must get myself a job to get my mind off food!

Thursday 25/6/09 - EE
B - Fruit salad & shape FFL yogurt
L - Prawn salad and roasted jersey royals
D - Went for an indian - 1 poppadom (4), veg stuffed pepper (2?), chicken tikka (9), salad and plain rice.
S - shape yog, slice quorn turkey, banana, grapes
HEA - milk
Syns - ww cheesy snacks 4, Wine & bacardi (28 - yes I have the headache to proove it!) = 47 :eek:
Total = 58.5

Been for a job interview today for long term temping till xmas - keeping absolutely everything crossed!!!

Update on job - I got it - hence the celebration........... :break_diet:

Going for a good day today - lots of water due to headache from vast quantities of alcohol last night - I must remember I can't tolerate alcohol very well!!! :cry:
