I'm following EE and i don't seem to be losing any weight i lost the first week, i didn't lose any last week and i'm looking set not to lose any when i go to WI on monday night and i don't know where i'm going wrong. Here's a typical menu

B - HEA milk and HEAB porridge oats and boiled egg
L - Baked potatoe with either tuna or baked beans
D - tuna and pasta
S - fruit, mullerlights
Syns - ryvita and cottage cheese

At weekends my dinner would be potatoes, chicken and veg

Hello...

Your food seems to be okay, but when you say that's a typical menu, does it vary much? Our bodies get a bit bored when we have the same kind of things and your meals there don't seem to have much variety...or excitement! The nice thing about EE is there's so much choice that meals can be exciting - if you're bored of the food you're eating you're much more likely to go off track at some point.

I'd say get some greenery in there - vegetables, salad, more fruit...all the superfree foods with loads of colour. They really help speed your weight loss along.

Also, spend your syns on something a bit more indulgent than ryvita! You've got 15 a day to play with, make good use of them. I like a cheeky packet of revels for 8½ syns :)

Thank you for your reply much appreciated i must admit i don't eat all my syns every day. I'll have to try and eat more fruit and veg i guess though money's a bit tight at the moment so can't really afford to spend a lot on fruit and veg i seem to be buying alot of it at the moment as it is lol. I'll have a look at the books again and she what i can do.

Get down to Aldi for their range of stuff for 49p!!! :D

Try tesco for frozen berries, you can get 500g summer fruits for a pound. Bargain!!
Also buy seasonal veg for cheapness, don't go for the exotic things which are higher prices, as Hellie rightly says - pop to aldi, bargains aplenty!!

Do you have a Sainsbury? they are doing 50p offers at the moment so that is pretty good, and worth a go.

More fruit and veg hun, Aldi has a great range for 49p, Pineapples, melon, cherries, plums, peaches, kiwi. Also try looking at the reduced stuff in the supermarkets sometimes you can pick up some great bargins including the meat. Make sure that you are drinking plenty of fluid as you will retain fluid if you don't. Stick with it and don't get down hearted and use your syns for the day. Good luck xx
