Surgically happy.
I don't mention any specific foods but I do mention that I'm eating. Part of my reason for posting in here, is becaue LL ffects our metabolisms a lot and it might be useful for people to know that the metabolism can get normal again (and in my case - gone beyond that)
Does anyone know much about metabolisms in general?
I think mine has gone haywire.
I weighed in last thursday at 13st 3lbs and have in calorie terms had the following:
T - 3500+
F - 1500
S - 3500+
S - 4000+
M - 2300
T - 2500+
W - 2500
I weighed in this morning at 13st 2lbs.
Of those 7 days I only exercised on Friday/Saturday.
Normally if I eat more than 2,000 a day I start to put weight on. Obviously I'm not intending trying to get away with eating more. I had a few days off, and ate more than I would normally (generally foods that I don't consider cost effective in terms of calories).
I'm back to normal today (aiming around 1500 to 1700).
Anyway, I'm assuming that my metaobolism has never been a constant thing, that I've always had these wild swings - I do remember going months with eating a shed load of junk and then finding I still weighed the same as before I went off the rails. And I've had weeks of eating less and putting weight on.
It does make me wonder how easy it is to go into "starvation mode" and perhaps I've done this more than I realised.
Anyway - my overall diet is getting healthier and I'm mostly curious how people coming off LL have found their metabolism going?
