Hi!

My name's Karen and I've just be diagnosed with Impaired Glucose Tolerance, so after years and years of dieting on and off and just not getting very far I finally *have* to lose weight.
I'm going down the low carb route which is so new to me.
I've done every sort of diet, most recently SW (Green), but I've found that a lot of carbs is leaving me exhausted and I can barely keep my eyes open afterwards.
I have 4 kids, the oldest is 18 and just been accepted into the army. Youngest being 2 and a real handful!
So that's me :D

Thanks for the link!
I'm fine really, yes it means I'm pre-diabetic and will probably go onto to develop diabetes anyway. I just have to cut out as much sugar as I can and not add sugar to anything. Watching my portion sizes seems to be my main thing too as I really can eat!
Glad you are finding WW is better for you, I lost just over a stone with that but then got into a rut and found I wasn't eating properly (my fault, not the plan)
