Losses on WW

Hello, just wondering wat your losses are all like on WW? I'm not sure I can do CD anymore and am thinking of a change, even if only for a few weeks, but wondering how much I could expect to lose if I followed WW...

Hiya,

I have followed ww twice a few years ago,and last year.
It is a good diet but weight loss was not quick enough for me. The point system is easy to follow i was loosing average
1-2lb a week.

Me and a friend from work did it together,i tried to follow it last year on my own and just couldn't keep on track.

It may work for you if you have the time to weigh food
and list everything, but with two kids i found it hard.

Love sarah

Ive lost 17lbs in 5 weeks.

Its slow in comparison to CD etc but you can expect to lose a steady amount every week.

Bethany you dont have to weigh as much out as you think, I tend to do it the lazy way and eat a lot of ready meals which take seconds to work out the points value, or if you buy Tescos own stuff its already done for you.

kazz Id definitely recommend it :)

Ive lost 12.5lbs in 4 weeks. I love this diet. The losses are slow but its a healthy loss and helps avoid stretch marks :p It also trains you how to control your eating when your at target weight!! xx

Ive lost 9lbs in 6 weeks and my friend has lost 12lb. It is a bit slower than I would like and it can be disheartening when you see people on VLC diets loosing massive amounts. On the other hand, it is easy to follow and its nice to be able to eat with the rest of the family and have treats. I'm sure it gets harder as you get older too. I was speaking to someone at class a few weeks ago and she had lost 25+lbs in 6 weeks but she was only in her early twenties and it was the first time she had dieted. I on the other had have been yo yo dieting for 20 years and my metabolism is probably totally shot !

Thanks for your support. Lost another .5lb last night. Not much but better off than on. I really want to have lost a stone before Easter because we are going to a wedding. Just realized that .5lb means that I have less than 30lbs to loose, only just but that still looks good. Can't make the ticker show .5lb so will have to loose the other .5lb next week and a bit more hopefully !

Hey there! I didnt take a week off CD it was more like a month he he Also I was only on CD for 2 weeks. If you switch straight over and stick to the diet 100% then the chances are you will stay the same weight, allowing for the water weight etc to come back on, but after the first week or two you should see a steady loss of around 1-2lbs. My OH actually said to me the other day you see the weight come off more on a healthy eating plan than when I was on CD, I dont know how he worked that out tho.... he he xx
