O im getting so fed up! Just wish i could lose weight faster. My weights just getting in the way of everything. I hate shopping for clothes, something that i loved. My confidence has gone so low that i dont want to get my hair cut, because i get worried that the hairdressers are going to think im a fat blob :cry:Help!

Number one chin up give it time :D it will happen slow but sure wins the race id love to wake up with the weight off of me but i cant :D so lets help each other im starting calorie counting in a few days getting a boost on cambridge diet before hand :D xx

Don't get downhearted! I know from reading another thread you've had a bit of chocolate and some pizza and this is probably why you're feeling a bit on the low side. Please don't worry - as long as you don't go on a 3 day bender it won't affect your weight loss I'm sure. Remember, we're only human after all! You're doing so well and your losses up till now are great! :D

yah, kinda thinking the same thing. Wish it would go faster, but hey:slow and steady wins the race!!!
Would it not be nice to look back whenever we are there and be happy that we stayed on track and lost those pounds, rather than staying at this level, or even gaining more until then. Even if it takes a bit longer, we will get there eventually. I think, even if we loose track sometimes, as long as we get back on it, we can succeed!!! :)
Be happy and don't think soo much what the others think!!! Be proud, you are on the right track!!!...!!!
Not having too much time now, but whenever I did a lot of exercise, I did loose the weight so much faster. Maybe, if you have time, that could boost it.lol

it's hard not to get frustrated when the weight doesn't come off as quickly as you'd like. think about your life in general. what is a few months, a year even? as long as it's constantly going down, that's the main thing. rest assured that you are looking better with every passing day - take regular 'during' shots and dig out old fat photos of yourself to remind you how far you've come.

it is a long process when you're calorie counting, and it's just not realistic to expect that you can stick 100% to the diet 100% of the time. if you kick yourself every time you 'fail' it's going to make you feel bad about yourself, and that's when it's easy to turn to food for comfort.

feel good in the knowledge that although you may slip from time to time, overall you're eating much better than you were before, and that can only be a good thing!!

it sounds like it might be an idea for you to break down your goals into more manageable chunks. mini goals. maybe take it a stone at a time? you've already lost one of those stones, so you're doing great. make the second stone your next mini goal, then treat yourself to a pretty thing or a cd, dvd that you've been wanting for a while. it's easier to stick to if the goals are more achievable.

last point for me is that exercise has played a MASSIVE part in my weightloss. it took a couple of months to get into it, but now i couldn't live without doing something at least 3 times a week. i feel tons better in myself, really healthy, confident and generally just great. press on with it, it can feel like a bit of a chore sometimes, but it'll be worth it in the end.

GOOD LUCK, NUMBERONE YOU'RE ON YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!

I just want to thank you all!! You've all given me a boost. And i dont feel so low as before. If i feel rubbish again, im going to come back to this thread and read all your comments. Thought i was stuck and doing this diet for no reason. But you all made me feel that there is a point of all this. And if i keep going, i'll succeed. Thanks girls! :grouphugg:

Hope you're hanging in there. You've got to learn to fall off a horse to learn to ride one properly, after all, haven't you?! It's the wee blips that stiffen the resolve and teach you how to handle the rough times. You'll kick this problem right up the derriere, never fear, just keep at it, and if ever downhearted or impatient, try to remember that the slower the weight comes off, the more likely it is to stay off!
