Long term Goals

Hi all
I've been sitting yesterday evening and this eveing thinking about planning my summer holiday.

Nothing too different I hear you say, but I'd decided a few months ago that I wasn't going to go abroad as I couldn't stand the idea of flying whilst so very fat. I did last year and hated every minute of it. I wasn't putting myself through that again.

Hence the ...we'll stay in the UK this year.:mad::mad:

Well I'm thinking I might change my mind... :D

I'm already lighter than last year and if I lose about 4lb a week, which the pharmacist reckons I should, then I'll be stones and stones lighter but the begining of September. I think I worked out 4 stone (pmsl) but I wouldn't count on my arithmetic.

:D:D

I can't belive that I'm even considering that size a weight loss as a reachable goal. Or that I feel comfortable enough on LT to be planning 3 months down the road.

I'm interested in what other people have done, particularly people who have large amounts of weight to lose or lost. What's your goals? How big a chunk do you break it down into?

If I wanted I could sit and say when I'd reach a healthy weight if I carried on losing 4lb a week, but that'd take me into next year and I don't think I can face that :p

Hiya lorraine!!

Firstly I think its fantastic that you are feeling confident enough to plan a head and can picture a new slimmer you at this point!

But dont try and work out how much you lose, as I havent seen anyone lose the same amount each week!!

There will be some you will have small loses (1lb) and other weeks you will find you have 6lb loses!!

You may lose less than what you think or you may lose more!

But I can definatly say you will be a heck of a lot slimmer and I say book that holiday :D xxxxxx
