Edit button problem?

I have an edit button on my posts from today but not on my posts from yesterday or before...why is that?I wanted to change the title of one and I can't

You can't change anything in the body of the message after 20 minutes (though you can ask a moderator to).

You should be able to change the title though by clicking on it on the forum page

Nope that doesn't work-if I click (both single and double clicking)on it , it just opens the post

I found it tricky initially to change my diary title. If you click just to the left of your thread heading it should open the text box up and allow you to change it. It took me a bit of practise
